The Dentist

without comments

Emily and Lauren went to the dentist today and I must say they were really well behaved according to Jenny

They got cool toys from the dental staff and get to go again on Monday wooo.
Id like to thank Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance for making dental trips less painful.

Nicks Day

without comments

Nick; not to be undone by a special girls day out; today went out to San Jose Mexican Cafe as a special treat by his Daddy.

We went of to Walmart and got some supplies for our camping trip next month including some fishing rods where we will catch a shark.

Finally, I have been identified as the master waffle maker; so there you go.

Countdown to School

without comments

So very soon Nick goes back to school; and today we met Nicks new teacher; she was very nice. She relocated from Florida; so we all instantly liked her.

Nick chose his seat (closest to the white board and best view) – and all in all we were impressed.

We got to see a new addition to the school today; the new koi pond which had no koi in it; so that makes it a pond.

Banjo Kazooie

without comments

Many years ago; before the kids were born; about 30,000 B.C – Jenny and I had a Nintendo 64 and had a game called Banjo Kazooie – it was light years ahead of everything else and provided a great adventure-esq experience.

We just got the follow up game for a more modern system and it sure brings back a lot of memories.

It warms the heart to see Nicholas and the twins watch and play it; especially when they run over bunny rabbits and make them fly.

DB9 Power

without comments

This is my favorite car ever; and this one is personalized to my tastes.

0-60 in 4.7 seconds
Top Speed: 190 MPH
Price: Cheap – > $170,000 – thats NOTHING

This particular model has speakers that raise up and down; and name plaque (with my name of course) and a track pad thing that you use to change gears; oh yeah.. I will be purchasing one soon.

Charlotte Trip: Discovery Place

without comments

We had a great final day in our Charlotte Vacation mini trip. I really needed this type of weekend and feel ready for the coming weeks. Plus Nick starts school a week from Monday! I am sure he apprecated the trip too.

Today we checked out the massive Charlotte Raceway (Nascar) -we were staying very close to it and then hit IKEA for cheap made furniture. We got a small kids table for the Kitchen cos they bring there food into the living room and destroy the carpet. We also picked up a quick geocache at IKEA.

We then ate some lunch at TGI Fridays (Jack Daniels Chicken Burger) and then hit Discovery Place in downtown Charlotte.

A really nice weekend and specific thanks to Jenny Financials inc for making this all happen.
