Emily was the star of the morning today; as it was her turn to ride with ‘Bay’ to go to school. Lola was slacking and sleeping in. Usually it is her to come on the epic journey to school. It is on this journey that Bay said the quote of the day; and Emil-Lou bid a fond farewell to her mighty brother. Bay went to school; and all was well with this great country

Installed some new software on my phone that enables one to track the device!! Its not pin point accuracy; but its close enough! You can even ‘remote detonate’ your phone; which would be a lot of fun. So if a thief steals all of my important (not) data – than boooom! – of course – it doesn’t literally go boom; it wipes the device…

We are setting up a routine of Jenny going to the Grocery store every Sunday morning. During that time; the kids and I can get up to much mischief. I kinda decided for the group- that we would visit every Columbia Park available. I got a cool map and we visited our first today. (We have been to others but wasn’t part of the initiative – we’ll have to return :-) )

Click on the video icon next to the park name to watch video of the event; and the pictures to look at photos. Hopefully by Summers end – we’ll have a pleasant quilt-work of photos and videos.

The only hard part of the trip is the kids don’t want to leave the parks when we get there – which can be difficult.. (and Nicholas doesn’t want to GO when we first leave for the park).

As promised – pics of Nick and his famous teeth :-)

Nicholas went to the dentist yesterday and had to have his two front baby teeth removed. Apparently they had been damaged long ago; and to avoid complications – they were eliminated. Nicholas was so brave! In fact he loved going so much; he wants to go back!! He has been performing dental surgery on all of us. He wants to become a dentist!

We have pictures of his new mouth – he is very handsome; such a brave little boy!! I’ll post the pics soon.

Yesterday we went to Charlotte, NC. About 1 week ago my MacBook started making a terrible noise. I determined it was the cpu fan. It did it consistently so we took it to the Genius Bar in the Apple Store, in South Park Mall – Charlotte. Of course! – as I turned it on at the Apple Store it had somehow fixed itself..

The trip wasn’t completely wasted though – we went to Discovery Place (we are members) – and the kids had a good time – we also got some nice Starbucks coffee..

The new Star Trek movie is coming May 2009 and I can’t wait!! – The story behind the new Star Trek movie is actually set in the future as in ‘The Next Generations’ universe. The story is told as a 4 part Comic Book series. These comic books are sold out – cept for the 3rd one. & I’m not a big fan of comic books anyway.

I saw that the comics are available for iPhone – so I asked my friend Monica to download the 3 that are available and I read them!! It was great! (Deffo the future of comic book reading :-)). It was a really interesting story; and had a nice tie in to the movie coming out in May. Can’t wait for the 4th one :-)
