England
Nicholas and I had a fantastic time in England – truly once in a lifetime opportunity for Nicholas – Mum and co did an amazing job at looking after us. Mommy also looked after the twins and the household in impeccable style. We really had a great time, despite the very long journey on the way back, I couldn’t recommend Atlanta to anyone, well except Mum she is flying out in March to see us, with her friend Dinah (whom we met this week!). It’ll be weird getting back into ‘daily life’ – Nicholas has already expressed he doesn’t want to go back to school….
Final Days in England
Nick and I have had a wonderful time in England visiting everybody – now we are returning home, and look forward to reuniting with the women of the Russell Family. – Here are all our pictures from the trip:

Nick and Daddy are in England!
We are having a great time in England, yesterday, we went to Blackpool and had some fun at Coral Island – we rode trains, played games and had a generally smashing time. Weather seems to be picking up today, so we are going to Preston on the train and then Uncle Malcolm is coming to visit, I think we are going to the tower.
England 2008: Flight Update
Just about 90 minutes now and my men will be landing in Manchester. Of course, I am checking the flight details/progress each time I wake tonight. This marks the longest and the farthest I have ever been away from Nicholas. I was very sad in the days leading up to their departure, BUT, the pics David has sent to me so far of Nicholas at the airport and on the plane show a little boy who is beyond happy and excited – so I am happy and excited for him! Plus, I get to spend a testosterone free week with my little girls! Oh the shopping we shall do!
Nicks TG Feast
24 hours
24 hours from now, Nick and I will be making the long journey to England, my home country. Nick is very excited. I have a mix of excitement and nerves – nervous about leaving Jenny and the twins behind, and nervous about the trip. I will miss my family next week, but I know we are going to a loving home and will be just fine. Jenny has many things planned and I just know it will go quickly for her.
We’ll be driving to Atlanta, checking in and the flying over the Atlantic, landing at Manchester, driving to Lytham St Annes, then do the entire process again, exactly 7 days later. I can’t wait to consume many portions of fish and chips. I also can’t wait to show off England to Nick, as he was barely a baby the last time he was in the country.
MacBook Fund
I’m at $289.17 for my MacBook fund, 100% of it coming from sales of stuff that has been stuck in our closet for eons. 5 games, all PS3 and an old laptop. Got another old laptop to sell, some more games and other bits and pieces. I would be happy to reach the $500.00 mark, and I think that is more than possible. The new MacBook is very special, and I deserve to have one, because I am very special.
We have also started XMAS shopping for the kids, and I really hope we can do the vast majority of the spending online. I don’t like going out in the crowds, well I don’t like going out at all – and getting it shipped from Amazon is just miles easier. They are doing a new thing this year where they are taking the toys and putting them in stress free packing, everyone knows how impossible it is to open kids toys – and by saving money and the ENVIRONMENT, we are being thrifty and halo like.
Support for Quantum of Solace
I just have to add to David’s post regarding the Quantum of Solace that Daniel Craig is still the best Bond EVER. This movie was, unfortunately, one long revenge sequence for the death of Vesper. We look forward to Craig’s next portrayal of 007.
