Power Rangers and Tinkerbell

without comments

Nick is getting dressed as a red power ranger – and the twins are getting dressed as Tinkerbell, although their wings are somewhat damage from previous dress rehearsals. I believe its going to be pretty chilly tonight, so some emergency clothing will have to be applied also.

I expect a firestorm of activity at our house due to the number of children present in our neighborhood and I’m sure will be a great deal of fun…. not.

Pictures of the kids – I am sure will come promptly.

Our First Baby is Losing His Baby Teeth!!

without comments

Yes, it is true. Nicholas has two loose teeth. They are the bottom center two. They happen to be the two teeth that came in first 4 1/2 years ago. Anyway, I wept and giggled when I knew – it’s a Mom thing.  Nicholas has no need for money from the tooth fairy – he has requested Legos!

Did Nicholas Bring Down Russellsphere?

without comments

wanted1.jpg

My last posting was a joke posting about Nicholas, and I posted his passport photo – well; after that the whole site went crazy and non-responsive. After much time I managed to find out that it was the custom theme that was crashing everything down. I don’t know exactly what it was in the theme, but at least I could switch Russellsphere back to an older theme and we are safe. I also have a nice backup now of Russellsphere. So, I guess I can post Nicks sweet pic again; hope he doesn’t mind…

Santa and Technology

without comments

I asked Nicholas this morning what I will be getting for Christmas. He responded ‘Nothing’ – I asked him how this could be so? He promptly replied that only kids get toys for xmas – big kids (I guess people like me) to not get toys. I then asked him if I could still go ahead and ask for stuff, and he said ‘Yes’

The wise Nicholas has spoken.

On other news, I tried out a browser today called Maxthon; which apparentley is very popular in China. I actually think its pretty slick! But it seems like its PC only, which sucks. I prefer using Apple at home, and Safari does a great job. Jenny uses Safari on her PC too. The only problem with Maxthon, is that I seem to always want to say ‘Maxthong’.

Nicholas is a big boy

without comments

Last night we were reminded that Nick is a big boy now, he got invited to our neighbors birthday party, and so he left for 4 hours last night. So while we at home bit our finger nails waiting for his return, we decided to take the twins to the wonderous KROGER and do some much needed grocery shopping. The twins of course felt special about being Krogerites for the evening and enjoyed the trip a great deal. We also got to go to Petsmart and we saw some horses outside (Nay-Nay’s) – the twins were V E R Y happy. Finally this morning, I took a picture of our lonesome tree, preparing for winter – its quite beautiful.

Returned from HHH

without comments

We had a great time at Hilton Head Island, and enjoyed some beautiful weather. Sunday, we took a brief stroll on the beach, and left for Savannah, Georgia. We weren’t super impressed, and much prefer Charleston, SC. Its also quite smelly there :-) – we ate in a converted train cart thing, and headed home after a quick trip to Toys R US to settle the increasing restless natives.

Here are some fantastic pictures from our trip

Having fun at Hilton Head Island

without comments

Wonderful weather, we arrived at our hotel – we got a special rate, and it is a very nice hotel, we can see the sea from our room! – we went to a local harbor and had some food, the kids got to raid a treasure chest for toys. We searched the marina for buckets, but alas failed. So we moved on to CVS- and again, no buckets ( to think we are right next to the sea ) – but Jenny picked up some bubbles for the kids to blow on the beach. We spend a good time at the beach, sea was cold, but Nick didn’t seem to care. – Twins collected some shells.

After that we swam in the indoor pool, played some ping pong (table tennis) – and had overly expensive room service; while listening to the crashing waves an dlocal drunkards having fun. Thankfully we are on the top floor.
