High Definition Video
It has been a long sought desire of mine to shoot HD video of my family. We had a small, Kodak HD camera, that took decent enough footage. But it was very painful editing the video, due to the compression algorithm it used. It broke anyway, and so I thought that the only option would be to purchase a HD Video Camera, but I’ve never been a fan of camcorders. Preferring to use our primary digi-cam to shoot both video and photos.
Well, it looks like my dream has come true. In December, Canon is releasing the Powershot SX1-IS – a 10 MP camera, yet with High Definition Video Capture, at last.. Me thinks an email needs to be sent to Santa…

The Zoo
We had a wonderful trip to the zoo today, fed some birds, ate some lunch, a bird pooped on Jenny, it was a splendid day. In the afternoon we shot up to Charlotte and had some Cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory – there, they were late delivering Nicks pizza, so he got it for free, and all the kids got free brownie, how special is that ?!
Check out the pics!!

Lost Photos
I had to rebuild our iPhoto collection, and I am glad I did – because I integrated some missing photos of the babies. We have over 14,000 movies and photos, spanning from 1998. Thats 50 Gigs, and isn’t fun to backup. But what is fun is looking through the wonderful pictures such as the following. Powerful memories of our children, I love the photos of them best :-)
Presidential Race

The American Presidential Race has been fascinating to read about and provides entertainment on TV. I believe the debates begin on Friday. I am also looking forward to the Election, which Jenny and I will be watching all night, perhaps we’ll invite some friends over and watch the race. How exciting is that ;-) If I could vote, I would vote for Pali.. I mean McCain – but I can’t vote in America, so thats good news for the Obama Vote, as I feel my vote could be a swing vote.
