Bentley Jail Day 1

without comments

blog1.jpgI have been offloaded because my owner had gone to the beach (in the winter..) – life is tolerable. I met a man called David – he is very friendly. But the kidlins chase me and try to poke my eyes out. The women, Jenny fed me some fries which I am not allowed, but I ate them anyway. My biggest problem is a girl called Emily, she is the one who is trying to poke my eyes out. Such is life – Day 1 out of 5.

This is the one called Emily, her eyes are crystal clear blue, and she is remarkable – but coping with the stress of my eyes being tugged on is difficult. The one called Nicholas chases me, and the one called Lola who is as beautiful as Emily kinda ignores me. That Nicholas is a handsome chap too.

Woe is me, I want my mommy back. They fed me water today, and fries from McDonalds, that is not a good diet for a growing dog such as myself. I have arthritis and the one called David likes to bend my limbs to make me cry, so I am not happy. Mommy come back from the beach please, woe is me.

Sickness and XMAS

without comments

Winter time and sickness come hand in hand, with the increased hours indoors and time spent around kids at school – it is inevitable that we would be struck. & this year is no exception with a level 5 cold and bronchial attack on the kids lungs. Thankfully Antibiotics and Breathing Treatments have been administered and the kids are already starting to feel better.

While Nicholas and I were out getting BigDonalds – (McDonalds) – Nick and I toured our town and located many XMAS decorations, we had a good time, although Nick said we were ‘done’ when he got his BigDonalds Happy Meal.

Nicholas the Genius??

without comments

Remember Nick is 4

- Couple of nights ago, Nicholas wanted to play Thomas the Tank Engine online – (I was lazy and wanted to sleep) – and I responded, ‘I don’t know where to go’. He then returned, ‘Go to pbs.org’

- He found a xmas present the other day, that was ‘hidden’ – and we said he had to get it xmas day. A few moments later as we were driving around – he saw that houses had christmas decorations, ‘look, its xmas, can I get my present now?’

- We were streaming a video online – and it got stuck around 50%, I said it had finished. Nicholas pointed at the progress bar and said , ‘No it isn’t look….’

Happy Birthday Nathan

without comments

Nicholas’s cousin Nathan turned 4 today, and the Russell clan went in full force to attend the festivities. Nicholas got Nathan a Matchbox pop up toy – Nathan got lots of awesome toys, but one of particular interest to Nicholas was Nathans new Nerf gun dart weapon system. Unfortunately Nicholas got quite upset and wanted the dart gun for himself, I did try to steal it, but was caught at the last moment. A Nerf gun here may not be such a great idea, because the twins would feel the full brunt of the attacks.

The Cow Returns

without comments

This cow has plagued our household for two years, I originally purchased it for the front porch – but one (who shall not be named) was embarrassed by its – so it lays hidden in the shadows, except for a few times when the kids play and use it as a vehicle.

TG Feast

without comments

Nicholas had a TG Feast at his school where he sung ‘Gubble, Gubble’ and various other assorted treats. As part of his course work, he created a wreath where he wrote what he was thankful for. Most kids wrote ‘My Mommy and Daddy’ etc. Nicholas wrote…

I am thankful for Halloween Pumpkins and Super Mario Galaxy
