* Kids trying to escape house
* Checking out the new Gym
AJAX and Kids
At work, I have been doing a great deal of work with AJAX, and JS Libraries to add some graphical touches to our Intranet content. Here is a simple example, some new pictures of the kids, and you can roll over each picture to see a nice graphical effect.

A Trip to Short Pump
Since it was warmer than usual this afternoon, I left work early and we went to our favorite shopping mall, Short Pump in North West Richmond. Jenny surprised me with an appointment at a hair salon (I have a phobia of salons), but it wasn’t that bad. Nick played in the kids area, indoor and out, bought 2 race cars with his piggy bank money, and got wet in the fountain. I bought a more expensive POLO shirt than normal to help with my targets (weight loss, I am at 33lb down in 25 weeks at present) – Jenny got a pretzel, and the twins got NOTHING but adoring fans saying how cute they were.

Dollar General
While Jenny went out with Vanessa and Lisa, the kids and I decided to brave the cold (taking inspiration from Sarah) – and take a walk through the metropolis that is our great city. It was so cold my jaw was beginning to lock and my nose just didn’t exist anymore. I can’t imagine what the kids were going through but I did bundle them up in 3 layers. We were not out for long. We purchased from the hallowed Dollar General: 20 AA Batterys for $5, 2 Mandatory Toy Cars, and a bottle of Baby Shampoo. We took some pics to remember the event with Nicks camera, we had a great time :)

IKEA
We recently went to IKEA and had a great time. Unfortunately we met a rather nasty women for the childrens play area (she was the person who help us check Nick into the play area). We were issued a pager and Nick spent half an hour there why we perused around the store. We got some organizational stuff, and thats about it. We also got some $1 meals from the IKEA restaurant. This pic is of Emily on one of the beds, although she wasn’t too happy. Poor thing is sick again :(

Poor Mommy
I was on the floor playing with the kids and Nick was sitting next to me, and Jenny was on the chair above us. Jenny could not see my face as Nicholas was blocking me.
Here is the transcript of this most funny event:
Daddy: “What is 2 + 2 Nick?”
Nicholas: “4″
Mommy and Daddy gasp
Daddy: “Wow, thats great, what is 4 + 3?”
Nicholas: “7″
They gasp again, they can’t believe it. A 3 year old who can do arithmetic.
Daddy: “What is 7+4?”
Nicholas: “11″
Mommy’s eyes were wide open, hand in front of her mouth, she couldn’t believe it, so she tried
Mommy: “What is 15 * 2?”
Nicholas: “30″
Mommy’s eyes were then starting to swell up with pride, this child… was a genius
Mommy: “I can’t believe it, we are going to have to arrange a special school or something”
At this point I started cracking up laughing.
I had been whispering the answers in Nicks ears, and I didn’t get dinner that night.
Emily is now an official walker

Go Emmy, Go Emmy!
Emily is now Binky Free!

Well done Emily!!
