Computer and Funny Mistake

without comments

I have determined the hard drives in my computer are just fine, but the controller went bad. I switched the drives to my backup controller, although I still lost all of the data. At least I don’t have to spend any money.

My friend at work sent me a URL to this survey at washingtonpost.com . Its very funny. It was a survey given to 18-24 year olds to try and identify geographic locations. i.e. where is IRAQ? What is funny, is that in the actual reference picture they provided, they made a mistake!! Obviously a 18-24 year old created the image… Can you spot what country is misplaced?

I have lost my computer

without comments

I believe one of my hard drives failed in my computer, making it totally useless. I’ll do some more troubleshooting, but I fear I have lost a great deal of memories/videos/pics. The good news however is I backed up all my important pictures about 4 weeks ago, so my backup isn’t too out of date.

The twins came into work with me today, and they were great, while Jenny had a doctors appointment. Nicholas was at pre-school and he draw me a circle, I have it proudly stuck up upon my wall of memories at work.

Siesta

without comments

I took a nice break from my blog, but now I am back in action. Call it a birthday gift! We are having a dish network technican come out this morning and upgrade our receiver to high definition, since I got a rather large DLP HD TV set because our old one blew up. May as well take advantage of it.

Recovered

without comments

Even though Jenny had a challenging day with the kids today, especially Nicholas who is going stir crazy after his slow recovery and confinement to the house. Things seem to be looking up for the babies who slept without much fuss at 8pm on the dot. Having so much time in the evening feels strange. Our TV broke again, so we’re gonna have to bite the bullet and buy one :(

We took some pictures of some baby stuff we are going to sell, since we don’t use them anymore, and Lauren was our model. There are some wonderful pictures of her, and here is a preview of my favorite one :)

Sickness Over.. a reflection

without comments

Last night was the crecendo, Emily went wild with fury, and could not be calmed down. A swift walk into the chilly night, with stroller tiltled finished her off for the night. However, she remained defiant, and would only sleep on her daddys chest on the sofa. A long night, but now all is well, until the next cold.

Lauren Has Clapped Her Hands

A perfect clapping action has gained Lauren the advantage over Emily. However, Emily is hard at work at the ultimate prize, escaping from ones crib.

Sickness Fading

without comments

Well the last 24 hours have been something else, yesterday Lauren was fully recovered and loving life, she got up at 4am; this awoke Emily who was miserable from her cold. We got them back to sleep at 6am, and then groggy Nick got up at 7am. We were all a family of 5 zombies (cept for Lauren). Today Im happy to report things are looking up. Lauren yesterday was given the Nintendo DS to play, and was playing a minigame. She actually got the high score, beating both Jenny and my scores combined. Way to go Lauren!
